After getting killed on MLB playoffs this past thursday and friday (thanks brewers), I had a good football weekend with NCAA and NFL.
Anyways, I have a parlay to win $9500 with the Jets -7 as the last leg. Initially I added that bet to my parlay with the thought that if the parlay was still alive come Monday, I would just hedge it across the middle and collect my $4,750. But now I thinking that I should weight the hedge a little differently (ie. not 50/50) because I like the chances of the Jets showing up on Monday and putting a licking on the Dolphins. Don't get me wrong, I still plan on hedging some of it. Question is how much. I was thinking of hedging 30% on the Dolphins +7, and thus locking in a win of $2,850ish if the Dolphins cover and $6,365 if the Jets cover. Thoughts??
