    Colts +7 vs Cinci
What is your guys' take on this?

I just placed a bet on the Colts.

For starters, the Bengals play worse at home (lack of fan support?) than they do on the road and I just don't feel like they're a team made to consistently beat teams by 7+ points. They did it against the Browns in week 1 (won by 10) and Jags this week (won by 10). But the Jags one was a crazy ending that got them such a big margin. Last time they beat a team on the road they followed it up by giving the Brocnos their only win. Colts have played the Steelers, Bucs, and Chiefs very closely and you have to think their D-Line will cause some problems for a young Andy Dalton. Colts are due for a win eventually, not saying it'll be this week but I do think Painter is learning how to use his weapons and if they can put up 20 points on the Bengals they will cover +7 IMO.

    Opinions?

Addai is out, but Painter and Garcon seem to have some chemistry.

    Colts have like 0 defense.

I'd be cautious of this one. I liked Bengals -8, and it seems to have dropped a point already.

Bengals shouldn't be laying 7 points to anybody. Colts are playing tough and Painter seems to be maturing. Take the pts.

This is an odd game. There is a semi-rivalry with these teams. Well, Cinci wants it to be, anyway.
The thing is, there are still a few veterans on that team that really want to crush Indy. There is a real hatred there. As much as you can have for a non-division opponent. The Colts are still a well coached and prepared football team. They're playing very hard in spite of being very depleted. This one bears watching a few more days in the media before I can refine an angle, but right now, I agree, the Bengals don't have much business laying 7 to anyone... But they have been an underestimated team all season. They can compete in every game every week. How the Bungels do against an opponent like the Colts? Tough to say.

Addai being out may hurt their screen game but I like the rookie Delone Carter he's a bigger more physical back, he has a shot at putting up decent numbers this week IMO. I think this one will be decided by turnovers. If the Bengals get a couple of INTs they have a good chance to win by over 7 but like I said I think Andy Dalton will make a mistake or two, the run game may be the Bengals' game plan this week... the Colts have been pretty sloppy against it this year.

Hmm good point thanks for the input. I guess I just have to hope the Colts come out playing hard like they have the last few weeks because I don't think that team wants to be blown out this season they wanna prove they can stay in every game without Peyton, which they have proved since Painter got in there.

I live in Indy and read the Cincy Enquirer sports blog everyday (Reds fan) so I read alot about the Bengals as well. The Colts O-line is patched up somewhat but Dallas Clark is in some kind of no-Peyton funk and can't catch anything? Rookie DT Nevis didn't play vs KC and could be huge in this game if he returns. The kid is very active and the best talent Indy has had in decades at DT. The Colts secondary is where they're really hurting right now and the loose Cover 2 scheme doesn't help. Look for AJ Green to go over 100 yards easily and the crowds in Cincy should be growing with their improved play. I would think Cincy will pull away 2H to win by 10 or 14 but I can't beat the NFL right now to save my life so I'm going CFB only for a while.

hmm nice write up, the offense hasn't scored over 23 except once which was week 1 vs the browns, if they only score 23 or less this week a 7 point spread is a lot to cover. i still think Wayne+Garcon+Clark is a good receiving corp and if painter continues to grow in the offense they may put up a couple TDs
