Cards sign Rodgers-Cromartie
Cardinals cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, the team's first-round pick, is expected to sign a six-year contract Saturday morning and start covering receivers by the afternoon.
Rodgers-Cromartie agreed to terms Friday afternoon and should miss only one day of practice at training camp. He is scheduled to undergo a physical early Saturday, sign his contract and make it to training camp well before the only practice of the day, at 3 p.m.
"He definitely doesn't have as much ground to make up because it's only been one day," coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "He'll get caught up, we'll make sure of that."
