Now, I have seen some good handicappers on other sites say that Atlanta will cover tonight in the terror dome. They very well may do that. But if I have a scale and on one side I put all the reasons to back GB, and on the other side the reasons to back ATL, then Green Bay it is.
Simply put, I think Green Bay is secretly trying to go undefeated this year. It's just a hunch based on what I've heard from Aaron Rodgers in interviews. I think they are still hungry. And if you look at their weapons, they very well could do it. Plus, Favre's comments this week about Rodgers could have him in a pissed off state tonight, which would not be good for Atlanta's poor pass defense.
Tonight's game: Green Bay has given up the long pass alot this year, and Matty Ice can certainly hurt them, but I also see that Green Bay leads the league in defensive interceptions and Matty has already thrown four this year. I'm looking for him to throw two picks tonight as he tries to keep pace with Aaron Rodgers.
Green Bay is second in the league in rush defense, so look for Atlanta to once again be forced into a one-dimensional attack that killed them vs Tampa Bay. Meanwhile, Green Bay will simply execute their offense with little difficulty. They are not scared of the dome, afterall they just destroyed Atlanta there 8 months ago.
