with that being said I'm just playing a 13 point teaser with NE and GB cause I do agree with you in that a close game is always possible in these situations, but I don't believe that NE is a bad play here

NE has not been scoring like that at home this season. Last three games were 20, 20, 30. The closest NE came to covering that many points at home was week 2 vs SD. (35-21)....and one time on the road week 1 vs Miami (38-24).

The raiders did not win the vikings gave them that one. AP in game would've changed the outcome I agree, but that kick off return fumble killed them that just cant happen.
