I would LOVE Panthers +7 -110 (or less). All I see now is a juiced 7 at 5 Dimes.

I agree that CAR would be great at +7. The Saints are being WAY overvalued in this line as it is if you take both teams performance this year at face value. CAR will have a nice home field advantage this year because fans are so excited about Newton and the direction of the team. I'm tempted to just grab the points now and call it a day, but the only thing holding me back are CAR's problems at linebacker. The Saint's RB's should be able to grab yards on the ground and in the air at will and that will make Brees so dangerous in the play-action game.

Last week vs another rookie QB, the saints defense managed to hold him (gabbert) to:

16 of 42 passing
196 yards
1 td 1 int.

While Newton is heads and shoulders above his closest rookie arm, he is still a rookie, and in no way shape or form ready to face the multitude of varying defensive schemes' a Greg Williams defense conjures up in game. The adjustments that will be required cannot be done by seasoned vets, and you honestly think home field and the 12th man will be enough to stop Drew Brees and company???! I'm sorry, I know I dont hit at 80% like some of you do, but I know one thing, rookie qb's that face Greg Williams defenses dont excel at very much. This saints team is the real deal. The Panthers are a couple years away from being mentioned in the same breath. I'm loving the -6.5 for the saints.

Greg Williams defense is 7-3 vs rookie QB's all time, and that includes his stints with the redskins and titans. So you know those rookie losses were not in the recent memory.....

This is in my opinion -the one real gift horse staring us in the face this week.

But again, I'm not a 80% percentage kinda guy, and this IS the NFL where retarded happens.... (see Vikings of week 4)

I can't seem to figure out why people don't understand the lines at 5dimes yet. All they do is alter the juice to put out a more attractive line and time after time people bite on it not realizing they are simply paying for points.
