The Perfect Storm..NYJ v. NE (JETS, JETS, JETS)
Rex and the Jets after losing two will be after their division rivals, you better believe it. Nine and half is way too many here. Patriots’ inability to control opposing offenses and the Jets ability to control an offense will keep this game close. 9.5 or 9.0 is way too many. Jets will run and run and will control the time of possession.

Patriots are 17-34-3 ATS since 1989 at home when their opponent is playing in at least their second straight road game. They are 0-4 ATS and SU against the Jets in this particular situation. Most recent meeting was a divisional playoff game last year where the Jets were 9.5 dogs and they lost 28-21

A simple league system is to play on Conference Road Dogs ATS on the road following a road loss between the weeks of 2 and 13 are 159-131-3 or 55% since 1989. This situation is only standing at 2-3 ATS this year and the Jets lost ATS to Balt last week in this same situation, but this situation hit 12-1 ATS in 2010, 10-4 ATS in 2009 and 7-3 ATS in 2008. The Jets are 6-4 ATS in this situation since 1989.

The league is 41-0 ATS since January 1st 2004 as a TD+ Sunday road dog on grass vs a defeated team when they are off a non-Thursday game as a road dog which did not win by more than 17 points and their opponent in that game threw more than 20 passes. (compliment of sportsdatabase). Sounds crazy right? But simple and easy. Digging deeper, the Chiefs covered this year against the Chargers in this same situation.! and the Jets won SU (as 9.5 dogs) against the Patriots last year in the same situation.

I am taking Jets 9.5 (local) and will play a bit on the ML.. By all means, please don't be betting the house, wife or bankroll on this play. While I think it is a solid play, it is the NFL and you will lose!!!

dude~! is this a joke? wtf kind of system is this? you could tease the jets AGAIN and prolly lose AGAIN. saying the jets coming off two bad games will do well is about as dumb as saying they won't have two bad games in a row last week. Thye suck, period.

Why would you even bet on the jets now? They just got murdered last week by Baltimore since they had 3 tds just from their D alone. Also Sanchez/jets run O hasn't really been doing the best this year as well. You are better off taking the over in this game or teasing pats/over

As much as I hate the Jets with a royal passion and their fat-ass big-mouth coach, I do think they at least get the cover this week in New England. this is the Jets 3rd consecutive road game and they not only lost the first two but also failed to cover in either. The Pats come home off a two game trip where they lost in Buffalo and then travelled west and beat the Raiders last Sunday before flying back home east. I have to think the team playing its' 3rd road contest in three weeks gets the cover in this game.

As is Mangold who will neutralize the hell out of Wilfork.

With Mayo out and the Pats defense already struggling to rush the passer and stop the run, the Jets WILL move the ball all day on that atrocious Patriots defense. The ONLY reason the Jets could not do a thing on offense against Baltimore was because of the pressure. They had an URFA as their starting center for Christ sake vs. the best interior defensive lineman (and defense for that matter)

Jets win this one straight up after getting embarrassed two weeks in a row. And for what it's worth, Belicheat and the Patriots 3 of 4 previous losses came against a Ryan type defense. I'm taking ML and the spread confidently this week.

the pats are going to do a lot more running this game like the last one at oakland. Jets can't stop the run. Who are they going to put revis on? Welker? With hernandez coming back and ochocinco getting some looks, theres still too many targets. This jets team is not the same as last year, their D is much much weaker and they still don't trust their QB hence all the running.

Where are you hearing Hernandez is playing? Both him and Haynesworth were out of practice today. Ocho Cinco can get as many looks as he wants, he is still trash. He dropped an easy touchdown from Brady against the Bills.

This the Jets can't stop the run is some crazy bulls**t. Did you see Ray Rice run the ball on the Jets? How about Felix Jones? McFadden tore the Jets up and skewed the hell out of those stats. The Jets are still a top tier defense.
