Fact: Matt Forte is The Most Underrated Player in Football
600+ total yards in just 4 games already...on pace for about 2600 yards on the season

it will be a real crime if this guy is not voted for the pro bowl, he's a top 5 all purpose back in the league right now

he is what he is.... a 1,000/1,200 rushing yard back, with 55/65 catches for 500/600 yards... and throw in about 10 tds to that mix....

a good back, not the best..

he has had a great start to this yr, and hopefully he can keep it up. I like the guy... but seems like the kinda guy who will always be above average, but never the top tier.... i hope he proves me wrong

The fact that he's been as good as he has the last couple of seasons on a terrible offensive team is incredible. Put him in the rams 1999-2001 team and he's putting up marshall faulk numbers

hell, he's probably gonna put up marshall faulk numbers this year anyways

i think turner and mendenhall are products of their systems... i agree with the others as the top 8 (maybe in different order though--def dmc ahead of forte... he could be #1 when healthy)

Cmon now, Brahma. You're comparing Forte to the best all-purpose back ever and saying he'd put up similar numbers? I like Forte, he has a lot of potential, but he is not THAT good. Not yet at least

he's already got 630 rush/rec yards thru 4 games, I see him putting up 1600-2000+ all purpose yards this year

You don't think he'll disappear for a few games like he did last year? He should get close to 1600-1800 yards, but no way in hell is he as good as Faulk

Please remember what he did this past week was against the Panthers. It really shouldn't count.

Forte is pretty damn good....Faulk had a good O-line and Kurt Warner....Forte has Cutler and a $hit Oline

When healthy and used properly yes Forte is a beast. Very dangerous on YAC.

I agree about Forte being good, but comparing Forte, right now, to a Hall of Famer is ridiculous
