I posted all week on the Pats/Bills Over for Week 3.....closest thing to a lock as you get in the NFL. Here's another one...get it before it climbs like the Pats/Bills total!
Green Bay/Atlanta Over 53.5
Rodgers is the best in the NFL right now....maybe the best I've ever seen and I'm old! I know he's still young & just the 1 ring for now but he is a BEAST!! They destroyed Atlanta in the playoffs without Jermichael Finley and they'll score at will again. Ryan Grant might be back but for totals purposes....I'd rather see less Grant in the I-formation and more 4 WRs + Finley formations. They let Chicago hang around because they lined it up and tried to run too much but Mike McCarthy got the message yesterday! They poured it on Denver like New England 07 all over again! The GB D is getting bailed out by Rodgers but they're definitely worse than last year. Safety Nick Collins is on IR and Cullen Jenkins took his inside pass rush to Philly. The thing I really like about GB's defensive style is that they bring the pain....if/when they get burned then Rodgers gets the ball back that much faster. When the pressure works then they get Pick-6s like yesterday against Orton or last year vs Matt Ryan/Rapelisberger in the playoffs. If my Colts had that style instead of a glorified prevent defense than PManning probably has 3 rings by now.
Matt Ryan will try to keep pace. Ryan really showed me something versus Philly when he took a beating for 3 quarters but rallied the troops in the 4Q for a couple TDs and 35 points overall against the Philly big money secondary. Atlanta defensively is a mess...they just gave up 320 yards and 3 TDs to Tavaris F@$*#n Jackson. Need I say more?
