Looking at a 4-5 team tease (6pt) this is what I am seeing, any thoughts?
Buff +15
Pats seem to be the play to win, but with the defense the way they have been playing I don't see why a 3 score benefit isn't the right call, for a home dog none the less. Buff should at least pull out a small comeback to say the least keeping the score close enough to cover.
Texans +10
This one I am on the fence with. Saints have the advantage being home, but their defense and secondary will be shredded by Texas. Texas should keep it a close shoot out (over?) I don't want to go through 0, so +10 looks to be the play. if the line moves at all Ill be happy to take Texas at +10.5 or higher to get the hook and cover.
Chargers -10
Chargers are home vs KC, need I say more. San Diego should be pissed off and ready to unload at home where they do their most damage. KC is in shambles.
Bears +9.5
Another tough one. Again, GB is the lean to win outright but these are always close games (usually 7 or under). Getting the Bears, at home, biggest rival, after getting schooled, and a revenge game from the playoffs... should take the points with the Bears again right???? And again, Avoiding going through 0.
Pitt -6
Why should I not think Pitt is still pissed off about the Baltimore game? Indy has shown no reason for me to believe they will be within 6pts of the Pitt defense. Collins will be on the ground more than any other position. This line is a bit inflated, Indy does play well at home, but the effects of manning are still visible. If this tease line moves above -7 I may have to re-think this.
Lions +2.5
I know, I know, never tease through 0 but come on, Minnesota is not in any sort of a stride right now.... guess who is? and it's in a dome, might as well be a home game for Detroit. Det D will be fast and all over the running game never mind the non existent passing game. This may be a bandwagon play, but Det is on fire and some times you have to ride it.
Giants ???
Lines not out yet but this is one to look at. Who's QB? Giants defense looked pretty tight monday. Yes the offense was weak, but they did pick it up in the second half. worth a look.
