The Raiders have to travel across country on a short week, the defensive line looks solid, the offense a work in progress. Buffalo could be a bit flat after their win but the offensive line played better than anticipated and the run defense is decent.The Bills did look good against a very mediocre Chiefs team. This Week Buffalo catches a West Coast opponent playing an early game on a short week which is a huge scheduling advantage. The Raiders are also banged up at WR with J. Ford and L. Murphy ruled out and D. Heyward-Bey questionable making Oakland’s offense one dimensional.Buffalo is 7-2 against the spread in their last nine games againt AFC teams, 8-3-1 against the spread in their last 12 games overall, and 4-9 against the spread in their last 13 games following a straight up win. Oakland is 6-2 against the spread in their last eight road games, 4-9 against the spread following a straight up win, and 9-4 against the spread in their last 13 games overall.Plus, the Raiders are only 1-4 over the past two years when playing an early game on the east coast.

The Arizona defense is not particularly good, their pass rush is poor; the offense has some weapons but is inconsistent. Washington is also inconsistent but they have some balance, the defense can get pressure which protects their secondaryThe Cardinals gave up 403 passing yards at home to a rookie QB in their home opener. Whether you like Grossman or not, he played well in games last season and carried that through the preseason and into Week 1. He has better talent to throw to than Cam Newton and and if the secondary plays like it did against Carolina it will be a long flight back to Arizona.The Skins have too many reliable options and if a rookie quarterback can put up over 400 yards passing in his first game in the NFL on the road than I think the Skins can muster up enough offense at home to come away with a victory.The Cardinals like the Raiders are in the West Coast team playing in an early game in the East go against angle.

San Francisco has a decent defense but the offensive line is not effective; the offense is limited and inconsistent. Dallas has a better than expected offensive line and plenty of weapons, the defense is aggressive but thin,Dallas is playing in their second straight road contest in what you can kind of consider a shortened week after playing the Sunday Nighter but that is perhaps a blessing in disguise for Dallas as perhaps getting back on the field and addressing their Week 1 heartbreaker right away could be the medicine to get them back on track. San Fran does hold an advantage in the backfield and perhaps on special teams but it stops there as the Cowboys are simply a better team from top to bottom. Cowboys have a suspect secondary, and so do the Niners. Problem is Alex Smith will not be able to exploit the shaky Dallas secondary, while Romo has the downfield weapons, and the motivation to light up the Niners. Dallas-2 @-135 ( 1unit)
