does that mean Vegas was backing Oakland? backing Denver? I'm trying to figure out the reason behind this.

i think the money was rather balanced enough not to move the line off 3. it takes a lot to move an nfl line off or onto 3 so they just adjusted the juice. i also believe the books and sharps were holding on because they had a position on oakland. they go to 3.5 and they get bombed with a lot of oakland money, which didn't want here.
