Alright, I'm pounding the Pats at -7 before the line goes up any more

I've graded myself a loss on the Steelers. But that money will be coming straight back tomorrow when Beli-cheat and Darth Vader Brady pick on their favorite east coast target Miami.

New England is completely banged up and there is no reason to back them under normal circumstances. But Chad Henne is not normal....I'll take the Pats on blind faith. As long as I look out on that field and see Beli-cheat and Tom Brady, there is reason to believe NE willl cover. Now add Ocho Cinco, Wes Welker, Deion Branch and Green-Ellis to the mix.

Pats outscored Miami last year 79-21. Miami, prove me wrong. If you can, then you deserve the money out of my pocket.

I have no idea. I just think it's kinda funny how they're only hitting 29% ATS in their last 63 home games.

I follow alot of stats and I've never seen one like this. It's just a curiosity is all.

I wouldn't touch this game with a 20 foot poll. Dolfs have playmaking ability with Bush/Marshall. They're at home... first game of the year... against a division opponent. 7 is a lot of points to give. NE has several key injuries on D. GL everyone.

If you look at the injury reports and motivation, Miami should cover. Pure and simple. But they got blown out last year twice. The way I cap is...I look at what has happened in ther most recent past and I say, "okay, that will happen again." Sometimes I am wrong (like yesterday with the Steelers). But the point is, the opposing team HAS TO PROVE themselves before I will back them.

Miami has not earned a backing, I don't care how banged up NE is. You have to EARN a backing before I put my money on a team. The only thing that Miami has proved is that Belicheck can out-coach them even if he was high on crack, with both eyes closed, and lobotomized.
