very winnable game for stl. Phi has a patchwork o-line that im sure coach spags can find ways to exploit and cause Vick some problems. Rams can and will run on this team and when phi looks to stop that kendricks will end up in a mismatch, love the way McDaniels gameplans. no one is saying phi isnt great but they adding a lot of new players and certainly have holes. Really comes down to stl being able to apply enough pressure so that those speedsters cant shred the secondary which is a big concern. Ultimately im happy with stl at anything over +4 as i had this 24-20 but leaning maybe a few more fgs now as i dont think rams will get burnt deep to many times for scores and should control a lot of clock while trying to keep phi between the 20's.Comment -

I'd be VERY VERY carefull siding with Philly. They are esentially starting an O Lineman that they JUST claimed off the waiver wire. Philly's O line is bottom 5 in the league right now, and I'm being very very kind. It all starts in the trenches. It also starts with player playing together. Philly has added a DICKLOAD of players. That's a bad strategy - although, they added 2 bigtime studs on D and a couple of others. It's easier to play D as a FA than O.
I'm just shocked how bad Philly's O line is, it's f'n horrible. There is no QB that can be a playoff contender with that line. Either your QB will die or you will have no running game. Either way, Philly is going to be extremely over-valued this year, I believe... Unless that line pulls together. That's a tall f'n order. If they lose week 1, watch lines scramble to catch up to them.Comment -

Yeah, there are reasons not to go all in. The main one is called money management.
Teasing Philly from -5 to +2 is not the way you are supposed to play teasers if you are going by "the book." You have several dead numbers (-1, 0 and +1) that you are wasting points on. You also aren't crossing enough key numbers. Teasing down from -8 to -1 would be a better play, as an example. You would be crossing several key numbers and not burning 3 points by crossing 0.

I like playing teasers too, but am trying to ween myself off them. I still play one on occasion though.
