I dont know but betting against the Bears at home always makes me weary, regardless of who theyre playing, even with the +3. I like the others tho, just my opinion, GL!

General question, how do you feel that you have any edge this early in the season?
If you don't why bet? Is it all entertainment?
Just wondering.

Guaranteed to lose.
Only use teasers with 2 teams, when it crosses critical numbers, and the line is sharp.

The edge is that teams are still "overrated" from last year's performance. I think TB, CHI, KC are very average and all will struggle to stay above .500 this season. DET and BUF have very good chances to win their games and Atlanta is a very good team. Tom Brady virtually a PK vs Chad Henne? I'll take that edge all day. And Cam Newton vs Kevin Kolb? Seems pretty obvious as well.

The better question is if you feel you have such an edge in these games why not bet them straight? Bet DET, ATL, BUF straight and tease NE with ARI.
Thank me later

Because this is not my only bet of the week, I already bet DET and BUF SU. This is a 5 team teaser, not my lock and only play of the week.

Right ok, but if already bet DET and BUF b/c you think you have an edge, you are throwing away value by putting them in teasers.

Yes, he means when compared to just parlaying them. I've noticed that with low point teasers I usually hit the parlay anyway. The big point teasers are additional insurance since I never get beat badly on games I feel strongly about.
Some things to think about. But one of my rules is not to bet until Week 3. That's when I separate myself, and even then I think about waiting longer.
