    Is Lovie Smith a dumbfukk??
Bears refuse to kick off from 35 and....

They asked officials to kick off from 30 yd line instead as a protest and did so twice before being stopped ....and their DL Wootten gets hurt and is out for the year on one of those KO's...

One of the 6 six teams to vote against the new rule is the only one to pull this stunt....
If you dont like the new rule dumbfukk, take a 5 yard offside penalty and kickoff from 30

In preseason, it's not a big deal.
I think they wanted to see what kind of game speed their prospective special teams had. The extra 5 yards is a big indicator of that.

Lovie is nice guy but he is never winning a superbowl as a head coach. You factor in Cutler as his QB and those odds increase 1 million fold.

        Its the preseason....

Nothing matter or is consequential to the reg season.

With that said. The Bears are still 3 years away from being a contender. That is the estimated time it will take for Lovie smith to be fired and Cutler to retire from "lack o interest."

I think Lovie is all right but Cutler has to be up there on my most despised athlete list...

Smith once had no assistant coaches with any NFL coaching experience on the team because he wanted , as he put it, "college type enthusiasm" on the sidelines. One of his more famous "incidents" is the timeout in the 2006 playoff game against Seattle.
