Going to use this thread to track all of my football related picks. Goal is to hit 50x and not embarass myself .

Starting with this week's picks, as documented in my MLB thread and LTA's MLB thread:

CFL (0.5x plays): Week 7 Montreal Alouettes-6.5 (W)
NFLx (0.5x plays): Ravens+3,-110 (L) , Broncos+3,-110 (W) , Cardinals ML,+170 (W)

nice day. so what do you think about Calgary and Sask tonight. I like Calgary. Seems like Sask continues to struggle.

Fly, I hav no faith in Saskatchewan. They are a mess. Too many mistakes. Saskatchewan also has the lowest time of possession, off stalls too frequently. Calgary is on a roll and get rambo back. Nik Lewis is a beast and joffey running well. If Calgary doesn't $hit the bed, they should win. But...

Having said that. My gut tells me to be weary of rabid desperate home doggies looking for first home win. I'm leaning to a pass on this game.

Bombers+1.5 (-110). this def is still getting no respect. Until the window closes, I'm going back to cash winning tickets on these guys since week1.

Mp, I'd just take the +2 now if u can and don't go crazy. Just small action. I originally capped this game in favor of hou cuz of growing list of injuries to saints squad. However, I just read saints starters will go to 2q and possibly first half. so go small for action and protect our profits this week.

8/22 MNF special 0.5x play

Giants-4.5 rollin with the hometown G-men. overreaction to last week's embarassing loss to the panthers is giving us some good value here. several missed FGs and red zone opportunities by the Gmen netted only 10 points. i have more confidence in the offense gelling this week than the bears porous o-line that gave up 9 sacks to buffalo (to buffalo!!!). Would have made this a 1x play had Sage Rosenfels was healthy enough to play. QB rotation of Manning-Carr-Rosenfels would have been nice, not so sure about this ryan perriloux kid who's mopping up.

Lovie Smith is 1-8 ATS vs. NFC conference opponents during preseason, partly because he's reluctant to open up the playbook against conference foes. i'd like a healthy dose of bradshaw and my big boi Jacobs and the offense to clean up its mistakes to roll to a home cover against the visiting bears. heard via twitter that Briggs and Urlacher not playing tonight. even better for the G-men.
