Spicer signs extension with Jaguars
Defensive end Paul Spicer signed a contract extension with the Jaguars, the team announced today. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Spicer, 32, served as the defensive team captain last season while leading the Jaguars with a career-high 7.5 sacks. The 10th-year veteran started 12 of the 15 games he played in 2007 and started both playoff contests. He recorded 50 tackles (36 solo), three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
