If its ability to throw the deepball you are after, do codeine swilling idiots who will never play in the NFL again still count? If so answer is Jamarcus Russell.

1 guy with a big arm a lot wont mention in here is Baltimore's Joe Flacco....

Has anyone done this in a NFL game recently? 68 yards in the air.

He might, but I haven't really seen him air it out in the pros, yet.

i remember a black dude who could throw like 160 yards or somthing crazy like that. guy isnt even in the nfl. he just does a side show showcasing his throwing distance

also i remember reading in a book of weird stats that the avg nfl qb can throw 65 yrds and the average man can throw 50 yrds. just 15yrds difference. i thought 65yrds was low for nfl but that includes backups i guess.

Not even jesus can throw a regulation sized football 160 yards unless he is throwing downhill off the grand canyon with a 100mph wind at his back.
Not sure if the average man throwing 50 yards is legit but if it is, it has nothing to do with accuracy, just distance alone. Chances are they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

I always saw having a strong arm would increase power but decrease accuracy.

Need a name, man. And those stats you've read are crap. There is 0 possiblity to toss an NFL regulation football that far. It's just physics vs human limitation.
Afterall, Meadowlark Lemon could spot up from half-court and hit the shot over 50% for the Globetrotters and whatever other b.s. trick hoops team he played for. The guy is legendary for his shot.

That said, right now, Jay Cutler has far and away the TOP arm in the NFL. I remember doing 'homework' on him, if Elway/Favre are "10's", Cutler is a 9.5.
2nd, and it's pretty close - Phillip Rivers. The guy has a ridiculous arm and doesn't get credit for it.
