Green bay has everything they need to be great again. They just picked up an OL to protect their franchise QB. I like the way the packers are building this team. They already have a sick defense!

The Super Bowl winner has won the opening game at home the last 7 years. I respect the Saints and their organization, but see no reason why this trend shouldn't continue.

Should be fun to watch. Ingram for the Saints should add an immediate spark.

The Pack were pretty good last year, no? Now add the draftees and all the boyz coming back from IR and this team could be scary good.

Green Bay is the next dynasty in the NFL and before last year I predicted 2 or more super bowls in the next decade. They've already knocked one down and they are not done yet. I'm not saying they will repeat but they will win at least one more within the next 5 years. Aaron Rodgers could play and be productive 10 more years and he currently has a great roster and a great GM and a great home field advantage. The only thing that could slow them down is concussions for AR and they addressed that yesterday with an offensive tackle.

The biggest worry to slowing down the Pack is N. Suh or Nick Farley ending Rodgers career with too many concussions. The Pack has already showed they can win with injuries as they were one of the most injured teams in the league last year but they had depth and star power at the QB position. So what happens if they all stay healthy? Scary. The Pack isn't done winning championships.

Lambeau will be going nuts. Will be a huge homefield advantage. I really dont understand how New Oreleans is favored. I got a huge play on GB for this game.

I can see the Pack having a hangover. There are not many vets on the team that have won a Superbowl and have come back to play the next year. I think John Kuhn would be the only one and it's likely he's gone. Woodson was on the LOSING end of a Superbowl and eventually was shown the door. I'm concerned about the veteran leadership. At times last year, the team KNEW it was good but didn't PLAY like they thought they were and lost several games that they should've and could've dominated. After being the champs, it will be interesting to see how the veteran leadership steps up. KNOWING you're good and being cocky about it is one thing. Playing hard and not taking snaps off and making plays is entirely another. GB really didn't catch fire until they had to, that's got to be a major concern.

It might be surprising how many Packers on the Super Bowl game day roster won't be back next year.

I agree, chemistry is such a delicate thing and it'll be interesting to see if the 2011 Pack can capture the same magic.

Personally, I think releasing a guy like Kuhn seems like a mistake. The guy is the soul of the team.

I can't wait for this game. The best part is that the Packers never played the Saints last year and these two teams haven't played each other since Favre was at QB for the Pack. I don't know what to expect, the Saints are no slouch and have a puncher's chance coming into GB. What an game to open the season with the previous two Super Bowl champions facing off! It almost feels like whoever leaves the cage with a win should retain the title belt!

Green Bay played in New Orleans on a Monday night in Rodgers first year as a starter. It was a 24-21 shootout at the half, and then the Saints rolled.
