#45Steelers look good again but too early to say yet.
Colts had a ton on injuries last year and it's in Indianapolis. Manning wants another title

#50There's a trend where a Super Bowl stadium has never given any team a home advantage.
Since the 2012 Super Bowl is at Lucas Oil Stadium.
By theory, the Colts will not make it to the Super Bowl.

#51I was thinking about this too. Here's the recent season records for teams hosting the Super Bowl in their city.Originally posted by GunShardThere's a trend where a Super Bowl stadium has never given any team a home advantage.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bowl_2012
2010 Dallas 6-10
2009 Miami 7-9
2008 Tampa 9-7 (no playoffs)
2007 Arizona 8-8
2006 Miami 6-10
2005 Detroit 5-11
2004 Jacksonville 9-7 (no playoffs)
2003 Houston 5-11
2002 San Diego 8-8
2001 New Orleans 7-9
2000 Tampa 10-6 (Lost to Eagles 21-3 in wildcard)
1999 Atlanta 5-11
1998 Miami 10-6 (Beat Bills 24-17 in wildcard before losing to Broncos 38-3 in divisional round)
So, we've gotta go back over 10 years to find a team that actually makes the playoffs. I think I could go back through the entire history of the Super Bowl and find a similar trend. What happened to the Cowboys last year is actually somewhat of a trend, teams hosting the Super Bowl tend to underperform.Comment -

#52To bad Julio Jones isn't a cornerback. Offense isn't the problem in Atlanta, a small and average secondary is.Originally posted by pavyracerFalcons should be in great shape to win the Superbowl now that they got Julio Jones.
Throw the bank at Asoughma from the Raiders and you might be in business.
