Funny stuff, as if his NFL career ending needed an exclamation point. Man, this guy is brittle.

        This is pretty funny.

I've heard of so many injuries (mostly knee) to non-basketball players playing basketball in the offseason, and Chad chooses to do it, with his history?

Yeah it's amazing how often this kind of stuff happens to well trained athletes.

What some might not realize is because of the lockout he's on his own....there is no team doctor, medical care, etc. for any of the players during that time

I disagree on the 'arm strength' thing with Pennington. He's one of the most under-rated QBs of our generation. He doesn't 'sling' the ball, like say an Elway Cross norst a Favre finger-breaker. He's EXTREMELY efficient with a touch/fluidity in the pocket I've seen amongst the 'elite' QBs in the league.

However, Pennington is not a risk-taking QB by any stretch. He can sling it down field plenty fine, at least, if you've seen him enough on tape. He chooses to 'take what the defense' gives him. He's no cock and balls QB by any stretch. He doesn't throw the post enough at all, his biggest short-coming, IMO. I understand how the league evaluates 'talent', but there's no denying, Pennington is a winner. I wish he stayed healthy, he's far and away the most discarded QB in the league and possibly, also, the most passive. It's sad to see some of his picks... They are underneath whilst he's throwing a slant or a short dig route, his favorites. If he was a bit more 'cock and balls', he'd be a starter somewhere next season.

If Chad does not play football, he will be a top coach in the league, IMO. His brain as a QB is amazing. His arm was always plenty-fine, though. Always was. I think the media is to blame for him not being all that strong-armed. Again, most media types that cover the NFL just want a story. Chad can drop one in from 60 yards away plenty fine and always could.

In the NFL it's all about tape study and not media hype - you gotta study film or you will lose.

Tore mine in December 2010. Worst pain I've ever experienced. Good thing the worst of it only lasted about 15 seconds. Rehab is a GRIND as it is nothing more than a daily voluntary pain session.
