As much as I don't like Tebow, I don't think its over the top. He was arguably the greatest college football player ever. Why wait til he's done with his NFL career? He's not at UF anymore. Whats the difference between now and 3 years from now?

And a waste of money? Please... chump change to a major university like UF

Im not really a Tebow fan, but to me he deserves a statue at Florida. Great college player and great person from the sounds of it off the field he was during his time as a gator.
