Phi 10.5 Under. Philly overachieved last year and when has Vick ever stayed healthy all year? 9 wins.
Nyg 9.5 -------. Such a psychotic team. Some weeks they look like SB champs, some weeks like the 0-16 Lions.
Dal 8.5 Under. I don't think last year was a fluke. Dallas is soft, they will implode again. 7 wins.
Was 5.5 -------. Probably about right. QB questions with owner and coaching staff infighting will unravel this team.

Chi 8.5 Over. The team that took GB to the limit in every game should be good for 10 wins.
Gb 11.5 Under. Super Bowl hangover, brutal schedule, overdrawn expectations. I have them at 10 wins again.
Det 6.5 Over. This is a young team ready to compete with anyone. I think they can get to 8 wins.
Min 6.5 Over. They'll sign a name QB and reload with a very talented roster. 8 wins is more realistic.

Atl 9.5 -----. Not bad. Sounds about right. Tough schedule for Atl next year.
No 10.5 Under. I'll put NO down to 9.5 with Atl, due to a tough schedule.
Tb 8.5 -----. Pretty close. TB is closer to 9 for me, but we'll see.
Car 4.5 Over. Carolina isn't nearly as bad as their record last year. If they can get a QB, they'll be competitive.

Sea 6.5 ------. I'm a little more optimistic. Maybe 7 wins again in 2011.
Stl 8.5 Under. If Stl gets 7 wins in 2011, they should be happy. Otherwise, a nice young team in need of some WRs.
Sf 8.5 Under. SF has too many QB questions. 7 wins.
Ari 5.5 Over. I've got this division pegged on 7 wins from top to bottom. AZ is a QB away from winning this division.

ne 11.5 ------. About right. They've gotta beef up the pass D, but the draft should be another goldmine for the Pats this year.
nyj 10.5 ------. I'd put the Jets on 11 wins with the Pats. I've got these two teams as dead even.
mia 6.5 ------. Miami needs to solve it's QB position to go anywhere above .500. Schedule is just too tough for them.
buf 5.5 ------. Same problems as Miami, but less talent on their roster.

pit 11.5 Under. Super Bowl hangover. Probably more like 10.0
bal 10.5 -------. This looks about right.
cle 6.5 --------. This looks about right.
cin 5.5 Over. Last place schedule, they've got enough talent to compete. I look for a rebound. 8 win season.

ind 11.5 Under. Very tough schedule. Lots of holes on roster. Probably more like 10 wins.
jac 7.5 -------. This looks about right.
hou 7.5 Over. I'd maybe say closer to 9. This team is so close, but I keep getting snakebit with them.
ten 5.5 Over. This team has too much talent top to bottom for this low of a number. Try more around 8.

kc 8.5 -------. Yeah, a return to reality for KC next year.
sd 10.5 Under . I'll say more like 9.5 due to a brutal schedule.
oak 6.5 Over. I think Oakland has another 8 win type season in the works, maybe more or less.
den 5.5 -------. Sad to say, but probably about right.

the goal of the thread was to get an idea of what you guys think team totals should be for next year, not really picking sides for each team.

free agency wont change teams that much unless a team like minnesota or arizona lands a mcnabb, orton, kolb type. most of the other teams won't change enough to change their totals in my opinion

Which is why is said "to be continued..." I agree that a qb is a difference maker but if you don't have that missing piece say like on the defense side of the ball you will not go anywhere. In my opinion

Thanks. Just keep in mind that there are between a half dozen and a dozen teams that could fluctuate quite a bit depending on how their QB situation gets resolved. I suppose there will be some teams that simply miss out on a good QB in the "musical chairs" dance that will go on. Teams to think about: Vikings, Redskins, Cardinals, 49ers, Panthers, Dolphins, Titans are the main ones to think about. But there's a second tier of teams that could also get involved somehow, depending on how they want to move forward into 2011: Broncos, Browns, Seahawks, Bengals, Bills. In any case, this could change the picture quite a bit depending on which QBs go where and which teams stand pat.

Detroit should be higher, maybe 7.5, and I think NYG should be pretty much even with or higher than Philly, but most of the rest of them make sense.

I think detroit will be a really popular over pick for next year but they have a very tough division, especially if minnesotas qb situation improves. I think detroit will be better, but it might not translate to a lot of wins.

I like Bengals over 5.5, talented team and they played good against good teams this season, and somehow lost that game against Buffalo. I think they will rebound big time and be in the top with Baltimore.

they still have offense & Phillips should get this defense to improve. i might even play them on a future for the division if the book gives a good + price.

Philly WAY under. New Defensive coordinator is their offensive line coach, enough said.

Dallas over. New coach, Romo back, new defensive coordinator, new wide receivers coach.

Pitt WAY under. Bad Oline, defense is getting old and how many Super Bowl losers have made
