Super Bowl 45 Betting Recap with Doc from Legends: Total and Teasers Killed The Books
The reports from Vegas were that in general, the brick-and-mortar sportsbooks broke even on the Super Bowl, even made a little overall, but that was not the case for Doc and other offshore books, apparently. The total going Over, along with teasers and parlays, killed the books on Super Bowl 45.

According to the Nevada Gaming Control Board this week, Nevada books won a total of $724,000 on this year's game — smallest win in the last 10 years.

This Super Bowl had two teams that were near mirror images of each other.

I didn't notice this video until now... very informative. Makes me a little more nervous about funds in my most sketchy book. Keep up the good work, Loshak.

Yeah, I hate to see books go under, but maybe the lines will soften up with so much public money out there now.

Yeah, the books zigged when they shoulda zagged. I think the early "sharp" money went on the under, which quickly adjusted the lines down a bit. But apparently they didn't bump back up so much as the squares took the over. I guess the books were banking on late sharp money that never came to balance the action. Sharps are getting sharper?

So let me get this straight... sharps are only sharps if they are on the losing side that seemed so obvious at the beginning, but not so obvious at the end? I find it funny how people toss around the word sharp after they lose a bet. If being a square means you're winning then why the hell would u want to be associated with being sharp? Just because you bet a lot of money on something does not make you any more likely to win, nor does it mean you know any more than someone only betting 10 dollars.
