was thinking rather than taking packers at -130, why not take aaron rodgers for mvp at +150? i mean seriously if they win is it realistically possible that anyone other than him could be the mvp?

If clay Matthews has an amazing game, he might get it.

Brees +300 was much better last year. Would need better than +300 here imo. Packers have too good a defense and Jennings has too much big play capability to maybe steal this one form Rodgers imo.

I think the smarter bet would be taking the Packers at -130 because if woodson, matthews has a big game, they could get MVP.

Rogers at +130 is low. Yes, if they win, he will likely have a good game, but I wouldn't rule out anyone else winning MVP.

it just seems to me if they win it wont be running it and their gonna have to score, rothlisberger isnt going to give the game away so rodgers is gonna have to go out and earn it, and if your talking jennings well rodgers would be getting him the ball and theres no way he would be the only one getting it in a 5wide set all day. Has a fieldgoal kicker ever gotten an mvp?

I bet rodgers with this logic too.

Look at it this way, can you find a game GB won this season (or postseason) where someone other than Rodgers would be the MVP?

I like the Rodgers play. I don't think there's any way Mathews gets the MVP unless he gets 3-4 sacks. For a defensive player they either need a ton of sacks or multiple turnovers, nobody cares about tackles. I think the only way you lose with Rodgers is if Jennings or Driver have a huge game.
