    GB -2.5 -120....it's basic:
GB has the better CB's (and it's not even close), equal LB's, equal DL, and on the fast turf......better WR's, IMO better QB(indoors and on the turf), better O-line, and the better FG Kicker. Sure, Pitt has the advantage at RB and a stud in Troy P., but that wont be enough to overcome the Packers many advantages.

    Take the Packers.

I'll grant that GB has better corners, but equal LBs? Clay Matthews is maybe the best LB in the game on Sunday and he's got a slight edge over Lamaar Woodley, but take a look at their other 3 starting LBs, seriously. AJ Hawk has played well this season, but he's not a game changer, more of a game manager to use QB lingo, I'd definitely take Farrior over Hawk for this one game. Bishop has also played well after moving from a backup role to a starter role due to injuries, but he doesn't compare to Lawrence Timmons. Now James Harrison, compare him to whoever the Packers are lining up at ROLB, this is the crux of my argument. I don't know how anyone can say the Steeler and Packer LBS are "equal" in any meaning of the word.

Now, the Packers are solid on the defensive line with Pickett, Rajii and Jenkins, but the Steelers have Aaron Smith, Casey Hampton and Brett Keisel. The main thing here is getting Aaron Smith back for the Super Bowl. I'm sure the Steelers still platoon Ziggy Hood in there as well, so his game experience starting for Smith won't be wasted. I'll give this matchup to the Steelers as well simply due to the depth of premier players.

Also, this discussion isn't complete without also comparing Safeties. I'll take Polamalu over Collins for this game. Ryan Clark over Charlie Peprah is also an easy pick.

Clay Matthews is not good against the run at all
Every time opponents run to his side they gain 5+ yards

I'll agree about the LB's. GB is on their 7th string OLB for god's sake.

Aaron Smith isn't playing this game. Advantage Packers.

Polamalu and Collins are not comparable players. They both play "safety" but it's kind of like comparing charles woodson to other corners. They do not fit the mold of their positions and can not accurately be compared like so. Apples to oranges in a way. Ryan Clark over Peprah, well you can definately make the argument but the discrepency is not a game changing one by any means. I think you need to look at overall secondary which is advantage GB.

First off I just want to say that I hate the Steelers. Can't stand em, haven't for most of my life. But, I think that they are going to win today outright. GB's running game has been suspect all year and only shows flashes if productivity. Once Pit stops the run GB will become one dimensional and Pit should be able to shut them down. imo. GL to all.
