I figure Steelers will keep running even if they are not successful right away. Packers were better vs. the pass than vs. the run plus it would keep Rodgers on sidelines.

No. He only went under 243.5 four times this year, albeit twice in the playoffs. O 243.5 -110

You are not taking the expected game plans into account. I expect Rodgers to throw a bare minimum of 35 times (probably more) and I expect the Steelers to run a lot, taking yards away from Ben.

I did some more analysis on the Roethlisberger prop and I now feel the same way as my original analysis indicated. Ben simply puts up solid yardage at this point in his career game in and game out with the WRs and system around him. Even when Ben played against teams with a weak or average run defense he got his yards. In fact, if Mendenhall gets his yards, that only opens up the passing game for Ben. When looking at pure yardage, Mendenhall won't take yards from Ben, just the opposite! If you were talking about passing attempts versus rushing attempts I might be more convinced, but passing yards versus rushing yards isn't a good argument. Take the over!
