I like the Aaron Rodgers one. That was one of the propositions that I posted. I like the under to begin with, so obviously I like under 47 too. The total team penalties one is kind of random, but Pittsburgh may get a lot of calls like they usually do in the Super Bowl and they commit their share of penalties themselves, so it might be a good play. Still with an estimate of 10 billion dollars being wagered clearly the Big Game is big business for the books.But with so much scrutiny how do you get an edge though is the Packers-Steelers gambling conundrum.Some say props are the way to go and you can bet on everything including how long the national anthem will be.I tend to agree but sometimes the props are over and done with so quickly that watching the game becomes pretty boring.I say for this one play it old school and just pick the straight up winner.If you are on GB you get a decent payout (1.74) and if you like the Steelers you can double your money (2.15)

i don't feel very comfortable picking the winner.. it feels like black or red.
these props feel more like real handicapping in this game to me.
of course, if Rodgers gets knocked out, the bet loses, unless Ben gets knocked out first.
Chances of Rodgers getting ko are very very low. GB offense is pass happy. Regardless
of the score they will throw, it is their strength. The short pass will be prevalent.
Steelers have Mendenhall and Ben scrambles for yards a lot more often than Rodgers does.
The pick is solid.
Over in penalties is a good one, too. I took it last year and lost, it was the same exact o/u
10.5.. but this year, more penalties are being called to protect players. Green Bay avg 4.8 in
penalties per game this year, Pitt 6.3...together that's over 10.5.
Emotions lead to penalties. Passing leads to penalties. So does the shotgun formation.
10.5 is a bargain number which is why it's (-130).
Still, the Rodgers to throw 3 more balls than Ben is the best prop I know of.

strange this is, Roeth. is actually (-120), because he's +2.5.

this prop doesn't jive with the other head-to-heads between them.
For example Rodgers is -37.5 for yardage (-120) and -3.5 for completions.

but only -2.5 for attempts.

i'm curious if others books can get this prop exactly as i can.
i'm sure you can, because vip must just get them from a similar
base.
