Question Regarding commission on losses of referralse

Dear Forum,

Half way thru the NFL season the local guy who takes action said he was looking for new clients and would kick some back on losses. I asked around at work and sent some new clients, just found out collectively they are down 10k, what would be a fair percentage for new business referrals?

Are you collecting for him? Are you doing anything other than referring the guys? If not you should be happy with about 5%

yeah you need to negotiate prior but there are guys that pay up to 30% kickbacks.
