How do you not bust out laughing after you hear a data mined trend pulled out of his ass like that? I mean is he serious in using that as an angle? John Ryan already looks like a fukin kook, but WOW.

If you take away the "against teams with a win % under .666 part", you will probably find NFC teams with a first round bye are about .500 SU, and less than that ATS. Since 2005, first round byes (in both AFC and NFC, lol) are 2-7 ATS.
