As both a Stanford and Niner fan, if I had my pick, I'd want Harbaugh to stay at Stanford and the Niners to do anything they can to get Luck. In the NFL you need a great QB and just an adequate head coach.
Believe me Bellicheck's genius dries up in a big hurry without Tom Brady in the huddle.

"Believe me Bellicheck's genius dries up in a big hurry without Tom Brady in the huddle."
He could only manage 11-5 in 08 without him. I do believe they did miss the playoffs though.
Looks like Harbaugh may be talking to Miami tomorrow as well.

yeah, like that time brady went out week one & they went 11-5 with a scrub quarterback. Think his name was castle or something - he blows.

More $ in Miami but it's gotta be easier competing in the NFC West than the AFC East, at least in the near-term.

I agree, St. Louis is heading in the right direction (good coach, good young QB, smart draft choices), but Seattle and Arizona look to be rebuilding over the next two years. The AFC East is one of the top three toughest divisions IMO w/ NFC East and AFC North. The division games in the East are never cupcake games like the NFC West has been over the past few years...

Miami is definitely a front runner with more cash. Also, no state income tax on 7.5 Million.
Frisco offers 4 million and California taxes hard.
I've heard that Stanford has a 2 million cap on their coaches
don't know how true that is
perhaps somebody from that area would know better
Sounds like University of Michigan concedes
I, also heard that Carolina wants to play in this mess.
To me that's odd, because I also heard that Carolina intends on getting a cheap assistant.
Denver is still not out of it
These are the numbers I read.
My guess is Miami

One thing I don't understand is the whole Dolphins thing where they were gonna pay him 7 Mill+
Then the Dolphins pull out.
What do you think happened?
Did Harbaugh interview bad with them or something?
That strikes me as a little odd.
Seems a little shady that the Dolphins would offer more money then pull out at the last moment. Sounds strange to me.
