I want to start off by stating that I am not a Packers fan..I'm just an old degenerate and a sports fan that appreciate and understand what this man has been able to do for the past 20 years..For the last couple of seasons ,all I have ever heard is the constant bashing of this man..Why? because he went to the Jets because his team didnt want him anymore? Why? because he had a hard time letting go off the most important part of his life other than his family?
Say what you want about the guy,but he was one of the good ones..
Ed Werder just said he talked to Favre and said he wasnt emotional and said he definitely will be not be back next year because he just cant physically do it anymore..He also said that he will not talk to the press after the game and wants to live a quiet life in Hattiesburg,MS after football..
Bottomline....The guy went down swinging when it came to letting go of the game he loves,the same way he did in all the games he was a part of...I for one can understand and appreciate that....Thank you Favre
