Feel like an idiot for asking this.
What does "Win the NFC Conference" actually mean?

I made a bet on the Eagles a while back to do this, and, now that I think about it, I'm not actually sure what that means specifically.

Is it #1 seed going into the playoffs? Or does it mean win the NFC and advance to the Super Bowl?

    I hope the latter.

It means go to the Super Bowl. Who ever represents the NFC in the super bowl won the NFC Conference(Championship)

Each conference has a declared winner at the end of the regular season. All that needs to happen is for the eagles to be declared the winner of their division, the nfc east. Congrats, they already won so you won.

Nevvvermind. Meant NFC, not NFC East. Not sure why I said that.

No, I typed it wrong. I meant just NFC.

You have to look closely at the wager that you made. Some are to make it to the superbowl, and some are for the regular season. The wording of the wager is very important.

If they need to win the NFC they must go to the superbowl on Feb. 6th 2011. If the eagles secure a first round bye in the playoffs, they will need to win two straight playoff games (divisional and then NFC conference - your bet - with that game most likely being played in Atlanta.

Yeah they just need to make it to the Superbowl. Start hedging during the playoffs. I reread after you editted and was like wtf was I thinking.

In my opinion they have the best chance to win the NFC, BOL.

It didn't matter to me. I am an Eagles fan, so I threw $20 on +365 just as a kind of "I am rooting for this team anyway" bet. Not how I make my bets normally.

At the time they were 6-3. Atlanta was 8-2. I honestly don't remember what I thought the bet was at the time, but either way, I liked my value I guess.

Chargers4222: FWIW - teaser on Eagles -8, over 32. Fade!
