falcons have done it all year with a lot of luck and smart playing... on pure talent level, the Eagles and Saints are simply better and you saw it today with the Saints outgaining them 360 - 210

the eagles and Saints both have more firepower on offense (the eagles have a LOT more firepower on offense) and the Saints have a stronger defense than the Falcons as well

I don't really think the Falcons can or will stop the Eagles in the playoffs

the eagles defense is really suspect tho imo and a team like gb if they get in would be a team that would score alot on eagles , remember the eagles are last in red zone defense in the nfl ....brees would eat them cb up alive plus the eagles have a whole lotts injuries on defense

Bears right now might be the best. The Martz offense has evolved and taken hold. Combined with that defense and scary Hester Team play.

The Falcons are easily the worst team out of the top 4 in the NFC

1)Eagles-too much speed for anyone, and the unpredictable x-factor Vick.

2)Bears-Good defense is finally being complemented with a precision throwing QB.

3)Saints-they own the Falcons, and should sweep them if it weren't for a botch extra point field goal in OT.

The falcons are like the Jets, lucky. The got lucky on the 49er's, Packers, and Ravens, all games that the struggle at, despite playing at home.

the problem for the packers is they can't win close games, like they literally can't win close games (Something like 2-6 in close games this year, which is godawful)

you're not gonna win 4 straight blowout games on the road vs great teams in the playoffs

Good god are some of you stuck on stupid? Eagles come on man get real. Bears already beat the Eagles have the better defense and the Bears offense just put up 38 on the jets. Eagles comeback against the Giants isn't lookin so great now. Packers just beat down the Giants by what 28. A Giants team that just hasn't been playing good football also lost to Dallas at home. I'd put the Packers ahead of the Eagles. Rodgers a better qb then Vick and Packers have a better defense. Running game slight edge to Eagles. Saints yeah better then Eagles and since Bears already beat Eagles and probably will have home field vs Eagles put Bears ahead of Eagles. Eagles defense will be one of the worse in the playoffs.

                    Packers ahead of Eagles???

                    Packers are 9-6
Eagles are 8-1 with Vick in the lineup

Packers have a lot of talent but they can't win close games while Vick and the Eagles are 4-1 in close games

You could say the same thing for the Packers and Saints about there offense outscoring anybody. We have seen that Eagles offense can be shut down. Vick throwing for 30 yards in a half but did explode in the second half vs Giants. He has been throwing more int's down the stretch.

The eagles worst offensive output with Vick in the lineup is 26 points (2 times). Otherwise they always score 27+ points

the packers were shut out in an entire half by the Lions for god's sake

Do you realize how bad the Eagles defense is? If they face Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers in the playoffs they'll be toast, while the Packers and Saints D has the ability to limit Vick and the Eagles offense.

The Eagles are the most overrated hyped up team going into the playoffs.

Don't know if they're overrated, maybe over hyped, but this team is so explosive.

They score fast, and have play makers all over the field.

Vick, McCoy, and Harrison in the backfield with Jackson, Maclin, Celek, & Avant in the spread is scary.

Their defense is not that bad, they're ranked 12th overall in total D, 9th vs the run, they do sruggle against the pass as they're ranked 22nd, but when healthy they're pretty stout.

The Packers are definitely a threat, but they have absolutely no running game. Should be interesting to see how this thing plays out.

I don't study the Eagles week in & week out but what are their defensive #s with Samuels and without? A cover2 team like the Colts doesn't need great corners but a team that blitzes as much as Philly has to have a "shutdown" corner like Samuels! I make them the favs in the NFC w/a healthy Samuels!

the problem is that they have missed Asante Samuel for several games this year

their numbers with Samuel in the lineup is respectable. Overall their defense is no worse than the Patriots
