i only play moneylines on NHL and MLB and spreads for NBA and NFL. i find that's best for me. i find Totals are completely random and MLs in NBA and NFL not worth it when on favs.

I only bet Dog money lines in the NFL. This year I'm about 50/50 in hitting them. Why wouldn't you bet a dog at say +140 or so if you think they got at least a 50/50 shot at winning the game? I do hate betting faves in the NFL, and don't think I've done it all year.

you realize if you just blindly bet the OVER on every cowboys, colts, patriots, jets and eagles games, you would win about 75% of your bets???

yep, of course games like phili set you back. I reckon its safer tho. Will win more than you lose. Thing is not everyone is so lucky. 3 unlucky games, 10k own the toilet etc.

but yeah after this game, makes me think otherwise. I coul have easily lost 30k if i was chasing.

the only way to make money in the NFL is by betting UNDERDOGS on the pointspread of whom you think have a chance of winning the game outright. if you think they will win outright, they will likely beat the spread.

do this consitently, manage your money in a disciplined manner, dont chase anything, and dont use any stupid systems other than RLM, and you win. period.
