What about the previous 16 weeks? They just weren't trying or what. The Saints have been consistent all year I must say. Brees has a terrible game against the Browns and they lose. This game is definitely a toss up.

The Falcons are a good balanced team, no doubt. Brees and the Saints offense simply have too many weapons to contain against a 22nd ranked Atlanta pass defense, coupled with an average pass rush.

As far as the previous 16 weeks...Added motivation goes to the Saints:
1) Still looking to clinch a playoff seed
2) Revenge for the previous week 3 OT lose to Atl
3) Roddy White opening his mouth or shall I say Twitter-happy, in an attempt to "minimize" the Saints Championship run last year.
4) New Orleans is a proven team, this is their biggest game of the year thus far. Falcons proven big gamers? How? When?

As a die hard Saints fan, I'm worried about tonight. Matt Ryan is a good QB and ATL just doesnt lose at home... However, I do think that Drew will have a big game and will spread it around to all of our receivers. We need some long drives to keep the ball away from Ryan and Turner. This game should go down to the wire. WHO DAT!

Not as big of a game as this one obviously but they won a big game against Green Bay earlier in the year at home.

For what it's worth... I love the over in this game. I do believe it will be a shootout. What worries me is will ATL get to Brees. So.. I'll take o49 and ATL straight up -140. May take a small parl of the two as well. IMHO, it's the only way I can go. BOL.

No I agree with you. I stated that the current line is 2.5 so that's what we're going by. I went on to say if you could get them at +3, then take it obviously. But seeing that Saints are +2.5, I don't see this game ending in a 2 or 1 point win margin for Atlanta, so to maximize your money you're better off going New Orleans ML.

But for record keeping purposes its New Orleans +2.5
