After watching the Ravens D get torn up by Houston on Monday I have to say that this line is totally wrong. Big time. If it wasnt for all the dropped passes by the Houston recievers in the first half of that game and the kickoff return in the second half by the Ravens, the Texans win - should have won.
Now Baltimore has a short week to prep for this huge game after coming home from the Monday nighter. If there D cannot slow down the Saints Offense then there in for a big time loss since I still think there physically and mentally spent. Playing tough games against the Bucs, then the Steelers & Houston and now against the superbowl champ Saints on a short week is not good.
Before the line came out I figured it would be -3.5 Saints but +2 at my book at the moment is a steal imo. This is a big game for both teams so I don't believe either team comes up flat because alot is riding on this one but Baltimores older aged players and weaker Defense of the two will be exposed once again by a potent offense.
I don't believe the weather will have an effect on the Saints either. It will definately be cold but with no snow or rain in the forcast with moderately light winds it will have no big part on how they play out this game.
*10 Units on the Saints +2
BTW, I watched some footage of the Ravens / Carolina game a few weeks ago and they looked awful. I mean, down right brutal. If it wasnt for a couple late picks the Ravens could have lost that game. Carolina was in it the whole time and at the time they were / still are the worst team in the NFL. Just something worth noting.....
GO SAINTS!!!!
