49ers win this one straight up guys. Gates is a game time decision, 49ers have a great defense. Chargers have no running game and i think defending against the pass (when you know its coming) will be easy for the 49ers. Also floyd is doubtful as well for the chargers. 49ers are more desperate and are a pretty hot team as well. Good luck to you all tonight but ill be riding the niners.

But in all seriousness @ +400 you are getting some value here. SF doesn't have to travel too far and you know they will be trying to play keep away from Rivers. If they can successfully extend drives the defense will keep them in it. Problem is they can never stop anyone late in the game. Worth a stab but not with my $.

yea its great value which is one of the reasons i took it. I didn't take it for some ridiculous amount of money only a couple of units... Yes its a risky bet bet i have seen crazier things happen in the nfl this year. Thanks for the educated response man and good luck tonight.

Yes, perhaps my response uneducated, but your points are stunning since you seem to ignore all the reasons that you would like to bet SF are the reasons to actually bet SD.
Both teams are 1 game out of first in the division. Both teams just won and have the momentum.
However, bringing up injuries, when SD has played with them all year is meaningless. Its SF without Gore that should concern you. Moreover, look up SDs rankings on D, and then tell me if you think Smith will do anything?

I think previous games have shown us that rankings dont mean much when it comes to the chargers. The chargers had those rankings in the early part of the season as well and still had a losing record. Gore being out does scare me though. Thats why my bet is a small one. I do think the chargers have the better team but i do believe that the 49ers are capable of upsetting them tonight so i threw a small wager on the 49ers. Raiders qb did a little something against that defense and i dont think he is no tom brady lol
