the real fix is the refs wanted this to go to OT so lots of commercial are played, ratings as well. A minute of commercial can bring MIllions in revenue towards the league. Funny things happen in sports - and most games are not fixed - the NFL tries hard to keep their rep as a legit organization. To fix an NFL game is quite difficut because there are so many people involved. However, fixes have occured in the past where there are more opportunity to afect the game (See NCAA Basketball....)- and will occur in the future. For exampe, If someone gets to a placekicker and offers him something to miss a kick here and there and not affect the outcome of the game.....
