Raiders -6.5 vs Broncos 2010 Lock of the Year
This game is going to be much different than that Chiefs game, where everyone was also expecting a blowout. The Chiefs basically did everything possible to keep the Broncos in that game, by committing silly turnovers and penalties. The cold weather also didn't help the Chiefs passing game, or they would of really opened that game up.

This Broncos team is absolutely terrible. This team is about as dysfunctional of team as I have ever seen in awhile. The coaches don't know how to call plays, and the defense can't tackle anyone anymore. This team has quit. They also have the worst running defense going against one of the best running team in the NFL. Darren McFadden and Michael Bush will go nuts in this one.

Kyle Orton has completely lost his mind. In his last two games, he looks like he has forgotten how to throw the ball. He's been short arming his receivers left and right in his last two games. No way in hell this guy going recover going in time at Oakland, especially with Namandi Asmougha taking out his only target in Brandon Lloyd. Kyle Orton just playing will cause Denver to get destroyed this Sunday.

Just like the first game, neither of these teams should be favored by more than a fg over each other

Definitely not putting my $$ behind the Broncos after that complete trainwreck against...ARIZONA. Haha, absolutely terrible.

This game jumped out at me right away. I also will be putting $$ on NE (- just about anything) at home against the Packers. Especially if Aaron Rodgers ends up being out.

The team has given up. Bowen hates the Raiders and will do anything in his power to motivate the players. But after watching them in AZ its obvious they don't have any emotions left. Take the Raiders in a blowout.

I was thinking like that few times about this team. That their pride of would kick in. But it doesn't matter, they are just horrible. And having Orton playing will only help the Raiders cause. Orton played terrible against the Raider the last time, and he's on a two game slump. Completing on 28 passes out of 69 thrown for 283 yards combine against the Chief and Cardinals. Those numbers are actually worst than that, since he pick up some of it in garbage time prevent defense.

I'd take my chances any day with Namandi Asmougha and that Raiders secondary verses a slumping Kyle Orton. I mean Orton is not even spectacular when he's on his A" game.

And how many games did the Broncos covered with him putting all those garbage time yardage? 3 as in the 3 wins they had the entire year.

As a Raiders fan... these teams always play one another tough. During the Raiders streak of futility, the Broncos game, usually in Denver, was one of the only games they played close in a given season.

I expect the same to hold true for Denver this year. These teams hate eachother.

The difference in those years were the bad Raiders teams had motivation when they played Denver. Denver was always in playoff contention when they met the Raiders, and the Raiders played great as a spoiler role.

There's several factor that gives the Raiders an edge as far as matchup is concern.

1)The entire Denver coaching staff is made up of rookies, so they do not know when to call time outs or make proper in game adjust. The Head Coach will not know what to do once the Raiders D starts blitzing Orton, just like their previous HC Josh McDaniels. The offense looked very predictable in Arizona, doing nothing but short screen pass plays.

2)The Raiders dynamic running duo. Mcfadden and Bush is going to have a field day against that poor tackling Denver D. They're undersize and a complete mis-match. The Raiders did it to them last time rushing for 328 yards, while the Cardinals had 211 on Sunday. The D-line is worn out and it's showing.

3)Kyle Orton. He's in a serious funk right now, and this is going to be the best secondary he'll be facing since the Jets. Orton went 9-28 for 117 the last time they met, despite Namndi Amousgha not even playing. It will even tougher for him this time around. I'm expecting 2-3 picks from Orton again in this game.

Hey I've already booked this. And it's a potential LOCK for me.

Just so you know, I went 7-0 on LOCKS last year (documented) and am 6-1 so far (Colts miracle loss last week only loss).

But even if it's not a lock, I still hit 70+% overall ATS, so it's still a good pick.

So I agree with everything you are saying. I'm on it for similar reasons

Huge line movement, with line going up to 9. Probably 10 by game time. The only thing that will keep this game close is if Tebow can produce enough long drives to prevent the Raiders running attack from wearing out that thin Broncos D-line.

Rookie QB first start on the road verses a pretty decent Raiders defense. I expect Tebow to struggle and perform a little better at home next week.

                                                Oakland in a route.

Tebow in his first start in the rain in 36 degree weather @ Oakland with a coach who the player didn't necessarily want and a team that is unmotivated.
