1-5-1 on the day ... my single win being Jax (-200 on the ML, didn't even bet the spread ), and my tie coming from the TB game, where my book wouldn't even allow me to bet the game as a moneyline. Also a diehard lifelong Packers fan. Now stuck cheering for the Pats to beat the Bears just so the Packers remain alive. I'll hang around of course, but I think my season as a capper is over. You wait all year long for the start of football season... research, tons and tons of reading, number crunching, podcasts, tracking down the hot posters when you're a little cold; eat sleep and dream football capping... really a tragedy to have it end (especially when "the end" is your money, etc.). Oh well boys, I guess that's the way she goes. The Name of the Game. All good things...

I don't know a damn thing about hockey man. Sure, I could crunch numbers and stuff (though I'd hardly know where to start), but there's something to be said of course for intangibles, feel, etc. And it's against my religion to follow plays blindly. I do appreciate the suggestion though.

No worries man it's cool. You can money manage plenty but of course at some point 1% or 5% or whatever you use as your "standard unit" is going to be next to nothing if you're on a bad loosing streak. At that point you really have to go all in. It's a shitty point.
