    JETS backers beware!
Before I begin, I want everyone to know that I am not trying to be the smartest guy in the room, but rather help my fellow gamblers have a great day tomorrrow. I respect all who disagree, but a play on the Jets in my opinion is a losing play. Win? Maybe.. Cover? I dont think so.

Also, i am a Jets fan. I live in New Jersey and actually like the team a lot. However, the bloom is off this rose and they have major holes. Near losses to Detroit, Cleveland, and Houston turned into a major ass whippin.

Conventional wisdom will say that the Jets will avenge last weeks drubbing by New England, but I think the Jets were exposed last week for who they really are and not a Fluke. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Miami won this game, but they should cover and a tease is a great play in my opinion. Here is why.

    1) Confidence and swagger gone.
    2) Short week
    3) Miami lost to them at home earlier. This is a Revenge game.
    4) 65% of the public is backing the Jets.. But the line has moved from 6 to 5. Not a good sign.
    5) The psycholigical damage inflicted last week should not be overlooked. Basically this super bowl team knows they are no where near superbowl caliber. And.. So does the rest of the NFL.
    6) Miami is 5-1 on the road
    7) Miami is 16-5 ats last 21 road games
    8) Injured Jim Leonard gives this D a major coverage issues.
    9) Miami needs this game a lot more than the Jets
    10) 5 points is too many.

OK.. so there it is.. I know Miami's QB is average, but this will be a low scoring game anyway. It is a field goal game most likely either way. Teasing Miami with your other favorite play would be my suggestion although i have Miami plus the points fairly large.

    Good luck to all.

Yeah, the Jets are just 18-13 ATS in the Ryan/Sanchez era, went to the AFC Championship game last year, and are 9-3. We should totally base our evaluation of them on one blowout game.
Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.

Jets-Dolphins games are always close. I'm not betting this game, but teasing the Dolphins and the under sounds like a good idea.

no... base it on 4 of the last 5 games my friend. They are a good team... but.. this week.. i am simply saying "be careful before laying 5 pts on them" They had been struggling the previous 4 out of 5 weeks prior to this game. My thoughts are based on them being a 5pt favorite... That line is too big in my opinion. I like Sanchez a lot by the way..

But.. i think the Jets stay grounded this week again.
