I like how Rams just run out the clock with 2 and a half minutes left and don't even try for a backdoor cover. Of course the teams I want to backdoor don't try, while the Titans try and score.

Good call by the Chase team. Perfect play.
Pending Ravens +7 win (they haven't lost by 7+ all year), despite everything going wrong, my Chase team has helped me about break even or even gain a little.
And that's really the truth. At WORST, I break even on a given week (or maybe lose little). I mean, I've had a lot of big gain weeks, but never a big loss week. Thanks to a strong chase team. And that is why I am up 120+% for the year.Comment -
Though once again the difference between even and a 40-50+ unit week has come down to little things. Some things I've learned this week,
1. It's time to act even more upon the thoughts of my analyst projections. This week and the past 4-5 weeks they have been spot on. Predicting my big weeks correctly, and predicting my sub-par weeks correctly. I really need to only go in big when I'm projected to do well, and play it small when I'm not projected to do so well.
2. Aaron Rodger's injury practically cost me 50 or so units. Can't really blame that one on me. I had no idea this would happen and could not predict it. I always lose to this "bad luck".
3. I have no idea why I had Rams +9.5 in a parlay. That should not have been there. I knew the Rams would get blown out yet I still had that. Will have to talk to my pick management team about this. The bad Rams picks alone cost me another 50+ units.
4. Titans should not have covered period.Comment -
Anyways there is some bad news for my hundreds of followers.
As you know, playoffs are coming up. But you might not know playoffs is when I am at my sharpest. I usually at least double my season profits in the playoffs. So what is the bad news?
Well, to do this, I have an extremely sharp playoff team helping me out. The guys are world-talent. With me leading the way, we destroy books when it comes to playoff time. So whats the bad news?
Well this is world-class talent. And this usually requires some recruitment by me. So I literally have to go all over the world recruiting the top talent. Thus, I will be very busy and won't be able to post my picks for the rest of the year. I might post for Week 15 before I leave on Thursday. But after that, I will be on my way to a world-NFL playoffs-recruiting tour that will last the rest of the NFL season. I won't be back till the playoffs.
My 1st stop is Japan, to which I will leave for on Thursday.Comment -
Not to sound like the voice of reason... but stick with units... 120% means pretty much nothing in the big picture... what if you started with 10 units... you are up 1200%... but if you start with 1000 units... you are only up 12%... But still up 120 units... that's all anyone really cares about anyhow...Comment -
Um it's the other way around. % matters more than units. If I had 1,000,000 units to start out with, I would at this point EASILY have made more than 120 units (betting 10kunits/game and so on). Anyone who made any profit would have made more than 120 units if he started with 1 million units. But if you start with 1 unit, you would have to work pretty hard to eventually make 120 units.
So unit count doesn't matter as much as % gain. The bottom-line is, anyone following my picks made a 120% gain in their bankroll. That's more than double. +120 units on the other hand can mean a lot of different things. If a guy started with 1,000 units (1 unit =1/1,000 of bankroll), and went to 1,120 units, his bank roll probably didn't increase that much. But if a guy went from 10 units (1 unit = 1/10 of your bankroll) and went to 22, he gained much more.Comment -

Finals? School? I'm in my late 30s. And besides, who has finals over Christmas and New Years? I fly to Japan on the 16th and come back from NYC on the 4th of January. Will be too busy to post any picks in that period. Got 1st class tickets already booked to Tokyo, Japan.

I always envisioned you being around 19....and doing this write-ups on your laptop from the rec room of your ROTC dorm....or maybe even the Band Hall. I can almost see you......sitting indian-style on your bean bag chair, adjusting your glasses every 5 seconds as you and your pals from the marching band bass line giggle about the crazy things you should write!!! A little payback for all those jocks that picked on you!!
JESUS!!! If you're really in your late 30's......I don't know what the hell to think?? This revelation, if true, is actually quite frightening!!

Japan is just my 1st stop. I will also be in China and India for a couple of days. And then make my way to Europe visiting France, Germany, Russia, Italy, and England. Then welcome back to America making a trip to various places like LA, NYC, Chicago, Miami, etc.
So yeah I will be really busy, no time for SBR at all. These next 2 weeks will be spent testing who is sharp enough to be on the elite playoff team.Comment -

Excellent teaser. Chargers are in do or die mode, and trust me, the 49ers still suck. No way they go into San Diego with Alex Smith and no running game (Seattle shut their running game down) and beat the Chargers. Furthermore, Phillip Rivers is not Hasselbeck, and that is the only reason San Francisco "looked" so dominant. 49ers still have a weak secondary. Finally, 49ers play a lot worse on road vs. home. Lock that in.
Raiders vs. Broncos? Broncos are arguably the worst team in the NFL. The Cardinals beat them 43-13. This team looked just horrible with new coach, Orton went 19/41 against one of the worst pass defenses. Raiders on the other hand, destroyed the Broncos 59-21 in Denver, and are solid on both ends. Furthermore, Denver already sucks on the road, and Raiders are a good home team this year. Lock this in too.
