Will Atlanta -7.5 be another trap?
Vegas has to know that by posting a line of Atlanta -7.5 over Carolina that 95% of the action will be on Atlanta...therefore is this a trap game? Will Carolina backdoor it? I cant imagine Atlanta losing this game let alone by less than 10 points. Vegas made Seattle 5.5 over Carolina and they got drilled so why is Atlanta only -7.5?

And dont give me the BS that Carolina is at home...bad teams are bad at home also..at least that is what I learned in social psychology class lol.

    Is this a trap game?

Yep but how can Vegas put a play on the board that they know is going to get hammered by the public? I just cant see many betting Carolina...I would like to but I cant pull the trigger any more on that sucky team.

Vegas sets a line and baits the public to hammer it because they know it is going to lose

No trap...no let down...just an old fashion ass kicking coming...Falcons are already preparing themselves for a possible tiebreaker scenario with saints....Its very possible that it will come down to strength of victory as the tie breaker if they end up with the same record....something to think about if you are thinking about playing Panthers...BOL

Atlanta should be able to cover the spread. Go Atlanta.

Everybody and their brother is betting Atlanta so why wasn't the spread over 10? The books would have been able to still get both sides bet at -10...Remember the Colts. Same situation...the books could have gotten equal action at -6 in that game.

Carolina was +13 at home vs Baltimore early in the year when everyone thought they would be good...so what gives here?

every good lookin game isn't a trap. and every game isn't going to f*ck you over with a garbage td at 0:00 left in the game lol. theres probably a fair amount of action on carolina from the same people who bet on them every week and the people who think its the right move to fade atlanta for a "let down" game. not to mention, it is a divisional game so people probably expect it to be closer. while i think carolina might be able to hang around for a quarter or two, i can't possibly see how atlanta doesnt pull away and win by double digits.

Early bets are 70% on Carolina at this line.
