Hi guys,
I work as a bookmaker in Ireland. admittedly there isnt a huge following of the NFL here but I'm betting (and trading) on it 6 years and have never had a losing season. Bookmaking is a completely legal profession here but the industry differs a lot to that in the states.
Indianapolis haven't been having a great run of luck lately, their offence is plagued with injuries and they dont trust their running game enough without Joseph Addai. However, as those of you who watched sundays games Jacksonville @ Tennessee and Dallas @ Indianapolis (both of which i won on the 'money line' as you call it) you would have seen that Tennessee couldn't stop Jacksonville's run game at all.
The main reason for Indi's loss on Sunday was the 5 interceptions thrown by Peyton Manning. The colts threw the ball 48 times and Sunday and ran it 7 times. Tonight i think Indi will play a much more balanced game and take advantage of the Titan's bad run defence. The bookmakers seem to be underestimating Indianapolis due to Sunday's game. I think tonight we will see a much better game from Indianapolis than we did on Sunday and I fancy them to clear the spread (-3.5) easily.
I don't usually bet on over/under but i can see this game being all one way traffic tonight. Under 45 looks like the way to go however, as I've said, I don't usually bet over/under.
My bets for tonight - Indianapolis -3.5 @10/11 (110 euros), Indianapolis to win both halves (a bet whereby each half is treated as a seperate game) @ 9/4 (50 euros) and Indianapolis to win all 4 quarters @ 14/1 (20 euros)
Gambling on the NFL is just a bit of fun and entertainment for me. I've only decided to start posting picks to see how i do as opposed to other posters on this forum. Like all gamblers, I occasionally lose too... this is how I'm betting on this game, I don't expect you to do the same!
Best of luck guys!
