Why Do People Hate on Jay Cutler??
he has a 93 QB rating on the season....better than Peyton manning

outside of that 1 bad game against Washington with 4 picks, he has been great all season long. IMO he is a perfect QB for the Bears situation

because at some point we have all been screwed over by him throwing picks. so much to the point where we will never back him again. It's all about perceptions, despite his current numbers many of us still think of the previous Cutler because those losses really made that kind of an impression.

He had a couple choke jobs in Denver in key situations. Last season was less than spectacular, under trying circumstances, in Chicago (he had nobody to throw to!). The fact that he seems to have an unlikeable personality doesn't help him.

The key thing to keep in mind is that he is so early in his career and he has all of the intangible things which could make him great. All he really needs is enough quality guys around him and the sky is the limit.

Things are progressing nicely so far this year, he's developing a competent receiving corps, his o-line is coming together, even Martz seems to be managing the offense reasonably. It doesn't hurt that the Bears D is playing lights out. Still some lingering questions, but so far the questions seem to changing to exclamation points!

sorry, I was referring to the previous years. I meant more along the lines of all his previous seasons make it hard for us to jump on the Cutler train. you're right, he's having a great year but I personally can't shake the perceptions from the previous seasons.

put a great big time receiver on this team with a slightly better offensive line and Cutler will put up some of the best stats in the league

I am a Bears fan living in Colorado & people here hate him - now. Funny that when he was a Bronco they loved his non-chalant persona...
Lucky for the Bears Josh McDaniels likes to get rid of all his talent.

Cutler was the highest rated QB in the league after 3 weeks. Too bad he's tailed off quite a bit. Still, a 9-3 record speaks for itself. They have a murders row schedule the rest of the way though...

Hes been great this year but his earlier years like last season and his seasons with the Broncos is why so many people hate on him.

I agree, hes a perfect fit in Chicago. You mention Chicago and don't mention that defense either. They've helped with Cutlers confidence a lot.

Who cares about his personality...as long as he (and the Defense) keeps putting up W's. I havent heard any of his teammates say anything bad about him. Its football, not a popularity contest.

the manner in which he forced the trade from Denver is why Bronco fans hate him.

He's a whiny bitch that needs to get rocked. God I would love to see him get soul crushed by somebody.

                            Jay Cutler vastly underrated

he's like Jim McMahon/Jake Plummer all rolled into one
