Maurice Hicks signs with the Vikings
The Vikings website is reporting that free-agent running back and return man Maurice Hicks has been signed by the team. Hicks becomes the fourth free agent to sign with the team in the past week, joining safety Madieu Williams, fullback Thomas Tapeh and wide receiver Bernard Berrian. Hicks will take the place of Mewelde Moore, who signed with Pittsburgh on Monday. He’s expected to take over as the Vikings’ primary kick returner.
