A splendid 4-1 performance last week, but not much appeals seven days later. No sense in trying to find bets for the sake of it so just three sultry selections to savour:
Green Bay @ Atlanta
The Falcons have had three extra days of rest to prepare for this game, which precedes a brutal run of three consecutive roadtrips. They rrrreally need to win this one. My stats say the Packers are over-performing a little and since I seem to have a fetish for backing dome teams at home I have enough evidence to suggest a small play on Atlanta.

Carolina @ Cleveland
The biggest factor for me here is the nicely-scripted return of Jake Del'homme to the Browns' helm. It's entirely possible that he'll regain the form that once saw him almost nab a Lombardi trophy, but for now Del'homme is a QB who's been out of sorts and cost his team games for over a year, and here he steps into the fold ring-rusty and facing a coaching staff and roster who know his game inside out.

San Diego @ Indianapolis
It's that time of year when Norv's Chargers start, um, charging. Excellent in almost every category you can think of, San Diego can likely only beat themselves here as they face a Colts team that isn't any longer good enough to do it without help. Away win.
