Do those NFL Commercials Really Reflect how fans love football?

The commericials where they show with people wanting to leave work to catch the NFL game and the music they put etc. I'm not around crazy football fans but to those who are, is this a good indication of how excited NFL fans are about the games? I really feel like they are overhyping how big the NFL is with fans.

I'd say that I am, but for the average fan no. The average fan watches their team, plays Fantasy football and misses church sometimes. The average fan doesn't gamble on 5-10 games per week and watch 7 games per week but then again it's my part time job.
